At Nourish & Co, we are committed to delivering our natural food, herbal, and fermented products safely and in excellent condition. This Shipping Policy outlines how we handle your orders, shipping methods, and responsibilities for both Nourish & Co and our customers.

2. Order Processing
- Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your order is processed and shipped, including tracking information where applicable.
3. Delivery Times
- Standard delivery within South Africa is usually 7 business days, depending on location and courier availability.
- Delivery times may vary due to public holidays, extreme weather, or courier delays outside of our control.
- Nourish & Co is not responsible for delays caused by the courier or external factors.
4. Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order weight, size, and delivery location.
- Occasionally, we may offer promotions for free or discounted shipping. Check our website for current offers.
5. Handling of Perishable & Fermented Products
Because we sell perishable and live-culture products, we take special care to ensure they remain safe:
- Temperature Control: Fermented and perishable items (e.g., kefir, sauerkraut) are shipped in insulated packaging to maintain proper temperature during transit.
- Immediate Refrigeration: Customers must refrigerate products immediately upon delivery. Nourish & Co cannot be held responsible for spoilage or deterioration caused by improper handling or delayed refrigeration.
- Use-by/Best-before Dates: All products are clearly labeled with expiry or best-before dates.
- Proper Handling: Handle products according to instructions provided on labels to ensure safety and quality.
6. Risk and Ownership
- Ownership and risk of all products pass to the customer upon delivery.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive perishable items promptly.
- Nourish & Co is not liable for spoilage, damage, or loss occurring after delivery.
- If a delivery fails due to customer unavailability or incorrect address information, reshipping costs may apply.
7. Tracking Your Order
- Where available, tracking information will be provided via email once your order is shipped.
- Tracking allows you to monitor your order but does not transfer responsibility for the product until it is successfully delivered.
8. Damaged or Missing Orders
- Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, email hello@nourishandco.co.za with photos of the damage and packaging within 7 days of delivery. We will replace the damaged product or issue a refund as per our Refund & Exchange Policy.
- Missing Items: If your order has not arrived within 10 working days, email us immediately. You may request a full refund or have your order resent while we investigate the issue.
9. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure safe delivery and maintain product quality, customers must:
- Check deliveries immediately for damage or missing items.
- Store perishable and fermented products according to instructions provided on the label.
- Contact Nourish & Co promptly if there are issues with the order.
- Provide accurate delivery information, including address, contact number, and special instructions if required.
10. Limitations
- Nourish & Co is not responsible for:
- Spoilage due to improper storage after delivery.
- Delays caused by couriers, weather, or other factors outside our control.
- Health issues arising from ignoring product usage instructions, allergies, or medical guidance.
