Nourish & Co Terms of Service – Fermented & Herbal Products

Welcome to Nourish & Co. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, which govern your use of our products and services. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Products

Nourish & Co sells natural food, fermented foods, and herbal wellness products, including teas, kefir, sauerkraut, soursop, and other consumables.

  • Wellness Purpose: Our products are intended for general wellness and dietary use. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.
  • Fermented Products: Fermented foods contain live cultures and are perishable. They should be stored as indicated and consumed by the use-by date.
  • Allergy & Health Advisory: Customers should read product labels carefully. Do not consume products if you are allergic to any ingredients, pregnant, breastfeeding, immunocompromised, or under medical supervision, without consulting a healthcare professional.

3. Orders and Payment

  • Orders are subject to product availability.
  • Payment is required at the time of purchase.
  • You will receive an order confirmation via email once your purchase is complete.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Products are shipped within 7 business days. Delivery times may vary due to location or courier services.
  • Risk & Ownership: Ownership and risk pass to you upon delivery. Nourish & Co is not responsible for delays or mishandling after dispatch.
  • Temperature-Sensitive Items: Fermented products must be refrigerated immediately upon delivery. Nourish & Co is not responsible for spoilage due to improper handling after receipt.

5. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Due to the perishable and consumable nature of our products:

  • No returns or exchanges for change of mind.
  • Replacement or refund is available only for:
    • Damaged products
    • Incorrect items received
    • Missing orders

Procedure:

  1. Email hello@nourishandco.co.za within 7 days of receipt with photos or proof.
  2. We will replace the item or issue a refund at our discretion.

6. Product Safety and Usage

  • Consume fermented and herbal products as directed on labels.
  • Do not consume if packaging is damaged, expired, or has been improperly stored.
  • If you have any medical conditions, allergies, or concerns, consult a healthcare professional before use.
  • Nourish & Co cannot guarantee specific health outcomes from consuming our products.

7. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Nourish & Co. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Products are provided “as-is” for general wellness.
  • Nourish & Co is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use, consumption, or misuse of products.
  • We are not responsible for allergic reactions, illness, or health complications caused by ignoring usage instructions, medical advice, or dietary restrictions.
